Gearing up for the Future

Our first aid session covers some vital information

As summer quickly approaches, it’s again time to provide our tutors with a valuable send-off in advance of their next steps. In the same way that our September induction days bring all our tutors together before kicking off the year, our annual Fit for Future Day is an apt way to wrap up the last 12 months and look forward to where our tutors are heading next. Many of our tutors are going to university, others onto apprenticeships or directly into a career. With that in mind, this event gives tutors practical information and experiences, delivered via group sessions covering areas such as first aid, university preparation, happiness/meditation and sign language.

We’re incredibly proud of our tutors and the work they’ve been doing since September, so we’ll also be using the event to appoint our Tutor of the Year. This is definitely not an event to miss, and we’re really looking forward to celebrating the end of the year with our largest tutor cohort yet!
